The Cadillac Escalade was introduced in 1999 as GMC’s
response to the Lincoln Navigator and was the first luxury SUV produced by Cadillac. For
its first model year the Cadillac Escalade was a carbon copy of the GMC Yukon
until it was redesigned in 2002. Throughout
the years the Escalade has introduced a number of impressive standard options
including power adjustable pedals, heated leather seats, a tire pressure monitory system, satellite
radio and keyless remote entry systems.
