The Chevrolet Equinox is a compact crossover SUV introduced in 2004 for the 2005 year model. Front-wheel drive is standard, with optional all-wheel drive. They are not designed for serious off-road use. For 2016, the Chevrolet Equinox is receiving a facelift along with its cousin the GMC Terrain. Keyless entry remote systems are a standard feature on all Chevy Equinox trim levels.
