Protection Plan protects your key fob purchase as long as you own the
vehicle. If you lose, break, or damage
your key fob, we will replace the remote for you. Protection Plan must be purchased within 7 business
days of original purchase.

Protection Plan Price: $6.95
Coverage Start Date: Coverage start date begins the day of original purchase of key fob from Key Fob Mall.
Waiting Period: Key Fob Mall Inc Limited-Protection Plan coverage starts 60 days after purchase.
Coverage Term or Term: Coverage allows for up to 1 replacement key fob per year for as long as you own the vehicle, with a limit of 2 replacements total. Protection Plan is not transferrable.
Covered Product: Exact part number originally purchased from Key Fob Mall. No substitutions.
Coverage Amount: Theprice of the covered key fob purchased from Key Fob Mall.
Deductible: 20% of the original purchase price from Key Fob Mall.
Coverage and Terms: This protection plan will cover loss, stolen, and damage to covered Key Fob. If damaged, you purchaser must send damaged key fob to key Fob Mall In some cases Key Fob Mall will repair damaged key fob and send repaired key fob back to purchaser. Key fob replacement may require special ordering and may take up to 14 business days to receive. Protection Plan is good for the replacement of the exact part number of the key fob originally ordered. If key fob has discontinued, customer will be refunded the 100% of the cost of the Protection Plan. Protection Plan does not cover cost of programming or any work related to the installing/programming the replacement key fob. If there is a metal key with the key fob, any fees for cutting of the metal key are not covered by protection plan. If original key fob required a flash service to be performed, customer will be responsible for any charge(s) related to flashing Protection Plan replacement key fob. Customer will receive a 25% discount on any/all flash service(s) that is/are required and purchased through Key Fob Mall. By purchasing this protection plan, purchaser agrees to all conditions set forth in this purchase protection plan and disclaimer.
What is NOT Covered:
I. Replacement of metal key. If original key fob required an uncut metal key, this is not covered. Purchaser will be responsible for replacement of metal key and any/all fees associated with replacing, cutting, installing, or any other fees in connection with the metal key.
II. Batteries. No replacement batteries will be sent with replacement key fob.
III. Normal wear and tear. Cosmetic defects will not be covered. If key fob mechanics function, the item will not be covered.
IV. Any product fraudulently described or materially misrepresented by you
V. Product(s) with removed or altered serial numbers and security features. Key Fob Mall has encrypted technology embedded into each key fob to ensure it is the original product purchased from Key Fob Mall.
What To Do If A Covered Product Requires Service: Call 402-671-5100 to submit a Protection Plan claim. You can email [email protected] for a Protection Plan form.
How Will We Service Your Item:
A. Repair Your Product, or;
B. Provide a new or refurbished product of equal features and functionality.
C. Provide a cash settlement or a Gift Card reflecting the replacement cost of a new item of
equal features and functionality up to the Coverage Amount, or;
Shipping: Purchaser will be responsible for any and all shipping charges involved in sending damaged key fob.
Limit of Liability: The total amount that We will pay for repairs or replacement made in connection with all claims that you make pursuant to this Protection Plan shall not exceed the Coverage Amount of Your Product. In the event that We make payments for repairs or replacements, which in the aggregate, are equal to the Coverage Amount, or provide a cash settlement reflecting the replacement cost of a new item of equal features and functionality, We will have no further obligations under this Protection Plan.
WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOST TIME, OR LOST DATA RESULTING FROM THE FAILURE OF ANY PRODUCT OR EQUIPMENT OR FROM DELAYS IN SERVICE OR THE INABILITY TO RENDER SERVICE.
Your Responsiblities: Properly maintain, store and use your item according to the manufacturer instructions.
Cancellation: Protection Plan is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled.
Entire Contract: Unless amended by the State Specific Provisions, this Protection Plan sets forth the entire contract between the parties and no representation, promise or condition not contained herein shall modify these terms.
